We are allImago Dei—made in the image and likeness of God (Gen 1:26)— and we’re all navigating a holy path toward fullness of life.
What is the fullness of life and how can it be attained?
It’s a realization of God within our everyday events and decisions, an awakening to the supernatural life, a fullness of love that begins with a clean heart and right spirit (Ps. 51:10). It’s living each moment in alignment with the will of God, within His footsteps and along His path.
This is what St. Paul meant when he said to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thess 5:17). However, that’s easier said than done, isn’t it?
Perhaps … or perhaps not, because you aren’t alone.
A spiritual director is a companion along the path to fullness of life who can help you recognize God’s presence no matter where you are on your journey—especially in trauma and suffering, but also in joy, insecurity, life changes, and everyday circumstances.
A spiritual director is an empathetic and listening companion who can help you understand what it means to “pray without ceasing” while living in the fun, glorious, blessed world.
“The blazing desire for God is an active grace given to seeking souls who genuinely ask for God's intervention in their lives. Spiritual direction guides those who yearn for a deeper union with God, helping them learn how to communicate with Him and actively listen as He communicates with us.” (Jenny duBay)
